A friend had a lot of work done by Sea Smile dental a few years ago and was very happy. I did my research and found no horror stories, or complaints.
Recently I was referred to an endodontist for a root canal; he quoted about $3000AUD, and then I was going to be up for another $1500-2000 for the crown; almost $5000 for one tooth! I also had a lot of other work that would need to be done in the near future.
I made arrangement to come to Sea Smile Dental in Phuket and was treated by Dr Tan. She consulted the panoramic x ray, and some other x rays and we talked and given my mouth of fillings, cracked old dead teeth, etc she suggested a couple of root canals, and a mouth of crowns with some posts for reinforcement; well I did want a cosmetic uplift as my smile was brown and cracked, and this was the only way to do the whole lot.
The work began and was quite a process; ended up with 4 root canals, some posts, Porcelain front teeth, and fused metal/porcelain molars. Dr Tan was very efficient as well as really exacting about getting it all right; the team of dental nurses were great, and the anesthetics excellent. I added some valium to deal with my natural anxiety of dentistry (borne of a childhood of painful procedures)
Everything was done in very clean environment, instruments all vacuum bagged after, root canals done by experts using latest tools. But it was Dr Tan, and her team, with their cool, caring efficient professionalism that made the process so good.
Finally the crowns were fitted and suddenly it all transformed; visually as well as functionally. The price was a lot of money but this was well below a Melbourne price.

I was nervous about seeing an unfamiliar dentist in a foreign country. I needn't have been. I broke a front tooth on my flight to phuket. I was seen promptly and couldn't speak highly enough of my dental work. Excellent work, caring dentist and two chairside assistants. A fraction of the cost of the work in Melbourne.

From my initial consultation with Dr Tan at Putong Sea Smile Clinic I felt very informed and had been given good proffesional ,practicle advice. I found the informative demonstration videos in the waiting rooms to be just that , which also assisted me in making a decision on the options available to me .
The staff were absultely fantastic , friendly and caring. I had extensive work done which included 3x extractions, 1x root canal , 4 x bridging crowns and 12 porcelain crowns plus whitening on the remaining teeth I had. This was all scheduled in and completed with in the 12 days I was available over there and still managed a bit of relaxation time .
I have alraedy recommended the surgery and Dr Tan to three of my friends and have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

I went to Seasmile in May of 2010 and had 10 (ten) crowns done and all my old fillings removed. They were fantastic, I have had no probelms with my teeth since. I go back each year for a clean and a check up. Very good value and great service that I highly recomend.

I had an accident that left me with my two front teeth smashed out and chips in the ones beside them. Being only 22 years old I couldn't afford the $15,000 it would cost me in Australia to have them fixed.
I ended up having Root Canal, 5 fillings, three porcelain veneers and whitening and could not be happier. The team at Sea Smile were absolutely amazing, at my first consultation they realised how bad the infection in my front tooth was and arranged for the specialist to travel down and start my treatment at 10pm that evening in order to have all the work I needed done complete in the two week time frame I had.
The staff are so gentle and caring, they will hold your hand the whole way through if needs be. I am no longer scared of the dentist! It has now been over 2 months since my treatment and I could not be happier, everyone says how natural yet perfect my teeth look and my boss just returned from having over $10,000 worth of work done at Sea Smile after seeing the work they had done on me and he could not be happier either. I could not recommend them more and will get all dental work done in the Future at Sea Smile.

I am about to head over for my second trip to the Sea Smile Dental Clinic. I first went in 2012 for 6 porcelain veneers and whitening. I am so happy with the results, the staff and dentist. The clinic, even, is pristine along with the treatment rooms and equipment. I highly recommend this clinic. I am even taking people with me this time so they can get dental work done.

Sea Smile is great to go to. You feel comfortable. I would recommend Sea Smile. If you don't like dentists this is the place to go to. I even feel sleep there for a minute or two. Very very happy with my teeth.

I visited Sea Smile Dental whilst travelling to Phuket with a group of friends.
I received 6 porcelain veneers on my upper jaw.
The staffs were very welcoming. The dental surgeon discussed my upcoming procedure, ensuring I was happy to go ahead with the procedure. She made the recommendations for the best outcome – was extremely helpful and during the procedure ensured I was comfortable and not experiencing any pain. I am extremely happy with my new smile and know that I could not have done this at home.
